Small Business - Encore!
Inform Your Community will foster your child's entrepreneurial spirit by inviting them to create their own business storefront in a felt magnet playset. During this virtual event at 11:00 AM, children ages 3-14 will learn about the importance of shopping at small businesses and the role they play in helping communities thrive.
Free craft material kit will be sent to each attendee who registers by 12/07/21.

Avoiding Food Waste
Meet Jenny Rustemeyer,
producer and co-star of Just Eat It, a movie that exposes the extent of food waste in the United States, more often than not in ways that you may least expect. Join Inform Your Community for a virtual discussion to learn about the systems that bring food to your home and discuss the controversies surrounding them. Learn and share tips for how to prevent food waste when shopping, in your household meals, and when you eat at restaurants.

Bracelets That Bind Us
Join Inform Your Community for a fun one-of-a-kind virtual adult crafting event. As you make your own bracelet, learn about the prison system. Choose from leather or velvet for your craft kit that can be purchased in advance. Make one for yourself, and get a second kit to make as a holiday gift!
